New Years Day: Cotswold Classic Car Club, Shipton Oliffe Sports Ground, GL54 4HT
The meet is from 12:00 - 15:00. Car parking is on hard gravel. All welcome. All monies raised will be donated to local charities. Hot food and drinks available.

Sunday 9th April 2023 (Easter Sunday): Pageant of Transport - Weston-Super-Mare Sea Front.

Arrival on site no later than 10:00
The event is situated on the beach lawns in Weston-super-Mare right next to the seafront. Traditionally it has been a show for classic cars but as its Pageant of Transport they would like to see a whole variety of transport options. Cars, motorbikes, tractors, lorries, buses & military vehicles. Anything of interest is certainly welcome. Woolsey's Miniature Railway has confirmed that they will be there. The event raises money for the Weston Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets.
Just like last year vehicle entry onto the lawns is £5 per vehicle per day which does go towards the Charity the event is run by and in aid of which is Weston-super-Mare Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets.
Tickets are on sale now via the web site on a first come first served basis. There is also an option to buy a commemorative plaque (£7.50) online with your entry tickets, the commemorative plaques will be available to pick up at the Sea Cadets tents over the event day so just bring a copy of your ticket so we can hand over your plaque to you.
Note: The pageant is over two days so make sure you select tickets for SUNDAY 9th via the dropdown. You need to put MX5 Owners Club in the car club box to be parked with the club. Please order your tickets online at

Please take time to select the correct ticket option for your day that you want to attend and which vehicle you are bringing as we cannot issue refunds on the tickets due to the low cost of them. If you do encounter any mistakes or a change of circumstances and need to bring a different vehicle please make contact at the earliest opportunity by email.
There will also be space for people who want to turn up and pay on the day but space may be limited and would ask if you pay on the day then to use cash as there will be limited card machines.

Sunday 30th April 2023: Wheelnuts 2023 Classic Car Show - St Rose's Stroud.
As a club we are limited to 20 cars. Therefore Heather will be collecting names at the meetings.

Sunday 7th May 2023: South Wales Car Festival
Donations will be welcome. This is an exciting Car Show in South Wales based at Chepstow Racecourse. The day will be a mixture of over 300 vehicles on display including Supercars, commercial, vintage, car clubs, motor cycles and much more.
As well as cars they will offer something for the whole family including bars, street food, kids corner, live music, entertainment, craft stalls and local produce.
All funds raised will help fund the amazing work of the local hospice, St David’s Hospice Care. You can find further information on their website at

Sunday 28th May 2023: Bidford Wings and Wheels
The club is restricted to just 5 cars in the display which are now taken, anyone else wanting to attend is able to park in the public carpark.
The club has attended this event numerous times in the past, always a good day with food stalls and a cafe. There was opportunity in the past to take a flight around the airfield in a classic plane so hopefully they will have similar this year. Bring a picnic and chairs.

Exhibitors free. Please arrive before 11am to set up, opens to the public at 11 am. Another event that has been well supported by the club in the past, always a good day on the river Avon with a bar / cafe / restaurant. Bring a picnic and chairs.

Sunday 11th June 2023: Highnam Court Classic Cars, Trucks & Gardens
Your group is very welcome to attend our car show on 11th June. There isn’t a limit on how many cars from you group can attend. The entry cost is £5 per person with Payment information on the bottom of the form below. We will require how many people will be in each car. The club members who wish to attend can fill out the form linked below and return completed to Katy Price at The Pied Piper Appeal preferably via email to admin@piedpiperappeal.co.uk
Please put MX5 Owners Club under the ‘vehicle make’ so it lets the organisers know that you are a member of the SWMOC group, this way they can ensure that we all get parked together on the day of the event.

Founded in 1992, The Pied Piper Appeal is the leading children's charity in Gloucestershire. Their mission is to make a difference to the lives of sick and disabled children in the county.

We have arranged a private tour and photo opportunity with two Buccaneer aircraft, maintained by The Buccaneer Aviation Group based in Gloucestershire.
Opens 8:00 am if you would like breakfast. Park at bottom of site by café.
Arrive NO LATER than 9:45 am for briefing and drive to Cotswold Airport as a group at 10:00 am
Cotswold Airport Arrive 10:30 am approximately - follow DW to Buccaneer Aviation Group area and await instructions from onsite team.

Sunday 16th July 2023 5’s At Silverstone
This year the National MX5 Owners Club Breakfast and Midsummer meeting is heading to Silverstone With some exclusive access to the Silverstone Museum along with a great opportunity to meet up with other MX-5 enthusiasts to admire and show off your car.
With a fantastic Breakfast Club and all day meeting to look forward to. There will be a Show and Shine Competition with trophies to be won for the best cars on the day, the Club Hub, a handful of specialists, local dealership and space for hundreds of MX-5s.
Early Bird: if you choose to come early we have arranged private access for you to visit the amazing Silverstone interactive Museum which details the history of Silverstone, the British Racing and Drivers Club and the evolution of Formula 1. Your ticket also includes breakfast served from the Museum restaurant (8.30am – 10am). Prices will be £19 per person for this package which represents a saving of well over £10 per person to be enjoyed by members.
We’ve also got discounted entry to the Museum arranged for the rest of the day and you can join us on the day without visiting the museum for no charge (spaces limited).

When you click on the car club name, you will get the discounted ticket price and club parking, and the organisers get to know how many are booked in for our club. We must have at least 10 cars to be able to park together.
Gates open for general admission. Hill action starts at 09.00am and finishes at approx. 5.00pm each day. It is suggested that you arrive between 8.00am – 10.00am to be in position on your car club stand. Upon arrival at the event, please enter via the show field and ask the marshal to navigate you to the relevant car club. It would greatly help speed up the process if you have your tickets ready to hand.
Your admission ticket includes access to the paddock, hill, courtyard and spectator enclosures.

Sunday 6th August 2023: Burford House Motor Show 2023
All exhibitors MUST be on site by 9:30am. Arrivals past this time will be directed to the public car park
This annual motor show is in the grounds of Burford House Garden Centre.

They ask exhibitors to kindly donate a suitable raffle prize to support their chosen charity. Food and Drink will be available all day and you will also be entertained by the Teme Valley Brass Band.
If you are a member of a group then it is important that you all fill in individual forms. If you wish to be parked together then please meet off-site and come in as a convoy before 9:30 am. Failure to do so will result in you being split up. Any late arrivals will be directed to the public car park. 9:30 am is the latest time that cars will be allowed into the display parking area.

The plan is then to drive to Lacock in Wiltshire, the village has a number of Cafe’s, pubs and ice cream vendors there is also the NT Lacock Abbey, this is well worth a visit as is the Photography museum. For the photographers amongst us Lacock was the home of William Henry Fox-Talbot the inventor of the photographic negative. The distance will be about 27 miles.
We will plan a return route to our area. Please let us know if you are going to join us so that we can let Jolly Nice know numbers and for them to reserve parking for us.

Commonly know as Pershore Plum, this has been a classic event for the club over the years. There are lots of classic cars on show as well as plenty of things going on around the town, all to celebrate the plum harvest.

Sat 2nd September 2023: RAF Brize Norton Families Day
With the upcoming family’s day festival at RAF Brize Norton on 2 September, we are reaching out to see if you would be interested in joining us with some of your vehicles for display alongside the largest aircraft in the RAF’s strategic transport fleet.
The event will consist of a funfair, static aircraft displays, a flypast, a parachute display, food stalls, traders, an open-air concert in the evening and all kinds of other entertainments and festivities.
Being part of the Autosport display will get you access to the day’s events and exclusive access to an active RAF airfield where you will be parked on the 99Sqn aircraft servicing apron alongside the UK’s strategic transport fleet, including C17-A Globemaster, Voyager, the Atlas A400M and various other static aircraft.
This would provide a fantastic display and also some excellent photographic opportunities as well as an opportunity to promote your vehicles.
Note
- All display vehicles will need to arrive between 7:30am and 09:30am.
- Due to public safety all display vehicles will need to remain in the display area on site until 4:30pm.
- At all times on the airfield vehicles must follow the directions of the marshals on site.
- At no point are vehicles to drive under the wings of aircraft or within close proximity of aircraft without a marshal present.

Wednesday 6th September 2023: Cotswold Barn - Car Club Evening Meeting
This event is free to attend and there will be food and drink available to purchase on the night!

During our evening meet we will be serving takeaway food including our renowned Lashford Sausage Baps, or our vegan alternative warm Vegetable Samosas.
We are fully licensed and we have a specially chosen selection of local beers, ciders and lagers as well as a variety of soft beverages available.
Throughout the year we host a variety of motor events: from classic motors through to modern day supercars. These events can be attended by all who own or have an interest in specialist motors or for those who simply want to come along and enjoy the spectacle in a picturesque countryside setting.
We have a number of seasoned marshals who will direct you to a designated parking area.

Sun 24th September 2023: Cotswold Festival of Motoring
The Cotswold Festival of Motoring is a fantastic day out for all the family. For the car enthusiast there will be 180 vintage, classic, sports cars and super cars. You will also be able to vote for your favourite car in The People’s Concourse.
Live music will be provided by Paige and the Red Shift during the day. There will be a bar, food stalls and entertainment for the kids including a free climbing wall.

Saturday 30th September 2023: All Aboard The Cheltenham Fryer
Long time member and train enthusiast Gavin Coulthard, along with event coordinator Heather Eldridge, are planning an evening on the Fish & Chip special, also known as the Cheltenham Fryer.
The trip is planned for Saturday 30th September. The train will leave Toddington station (GL54 5DT) at 7:00 pm returning at approximately 9:15 pm.
The cost is £30 per person, which includes a large portion of fish & chips and ice cream.
Park in our large free car park, board the train and travel through the beautiful Cotswolds in your reserved seat. Whilst our waiting staff tend to you at your table supplying for soft drinks, beers, wines, teas and coffee.

Sat 4th November 2023: Rallye Prescott
Rallye Prescott welcomes rally cars through the decades back to the Hill once again in 2023. Cars ranging from Group B Audi Quattro's to Welsh road rally cars will take to the Hill in a bid to win Fastest Time of the Day, with competition runs being undertaken in both daylight and the darkness of early evening.
Join us at the only Hill Climb Venue in the country that can run competitive events in darkness . . . and don't forget your torch! This event is in November and could be very cold, dark and very wet!
Set within a beautiful country estate of over 65 acres, Prescott Speed Hill Climb offers outstanding panoramic Cotswold countryside views combined with unrivalled spectator viewing of the thrill and adrenalin of one of the original forms of motorsport in the world.
- We have the opportunity to attend and display as a club at a concessionary price.
- A display ticket for 12 cars and 24 people in the Orchard is available at a total cost of £120.00
- Per person entry for this event is £18.00 so club entry at £10.00 per car represents very good value!

Sunday 3rd December 2023: Christmas Coffee & Classics at The Classic Motor Hub

The Coffee and Classics events are a well-known and highly-regarded fixture on the British motoring calendar, and since 2019 each of the events has sold out well in advance! So rev up your engines for another great morning of classic motoring.
This winter they will be hosting their Christmas Coffee and Classics on Sunday 3th December between 10am – 3pm, with a wide range of Christmas gifts available from a variety of retailers ready to fill up your stockings! Booking is available for either a morning (10am – 1pm) or afternoon (12pm - 3pm) slot.
As usual, attendees will be in the fine company of many other cars and motorcycles, their owners and The Classic Motor Hub team with a number of specially selected vendors inside the hangar, making The Hub the place to buy all your motoring gifts this Christmas. Whether or not you’re looking for some retail therapy, there’s always something exciting to see and plenty of conversation to be had with like-minded folk over a coffee, slice of cake or a bacon roll.
This Christmas Coffee and Classics event is strictly pre-book only. In order to comply with health and safety guidance, no visitors will be allowed entry on the day without a valid ticket. Tickets are per car/motorcycle, rather than per person.
